SITUATION
An active trough remains slow moving to the North of the Niuas. Associated clouds with showers may affect the Niuas. Meanwhile, a fresh to strong South to Southeast winds will continue to affect the rest of the group by today.

FOR HA'APAI, TONGATAPU AND 'EUA:
Moderate to fresh South to Southeast winds, strong at times. Winds gradually decreasing by this evening.

FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TOMORROW FOR ALL TONGA COASTAL WATERS
FOR THE NIUAS COASTAL WATERS:
South to Southeast winds 10-15 knots, rising up 20 knots at times.
Rough seas (up to 3 metres). A moderate Northwesterly swell (up 3 metres).


FOR THE REST OF TONGA COASTAL WATERS:
South to Southeast winds 15-20 knots, rising up to 25 knots at times. Winds expected to gradually decrease by this evening.
Moderate to rough seas (up to 2-3 metres). A moderate Southeasterly swell (up to 2.5 metres).
