SITUATION
A trough lies and slow moving over Ha'apa, Vava'u and west of the Niuas. This trough is expected to move towards the Niuas this afternoon. Associated clouds and occasional showers may affect Vava'u, Ha'apai and the Niuas today.
FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TONIGHT FOR TONGA
FOR THE NIUAS:
Light North to Northeast winds, variable at times. Tending light to moderate South to Southeast winds by this evening and fresh at times tonight.
Becoming cloudy with occasional showers this afternoon and tomorrow.


FOR VAVA'U AND HA'APAI:
Light to moderate South to Southeast winds, fresh at times.
Mostly Cloudy with occasional showers especially about Vava'u. Becoming fine by this evening over Ha'apai.


FOR TONGATAPU AND 'EUA:
Light to moderate South to Southwest winds, fresh at times. Tending south to southeast winds by this evening.
Mainly fine apart from cloudy periods. Cool air temperature at night.

A HEAVY DAMAGING SWELL IS NOW INFORCE FOR TONGATAPU, 'EUA AND HA'APAI COASTAL WATERS BUT STILL REMAINS INFORCE FOR TELE-KI-TONGA AND TELE-KI-TOKELAU COASTAL WATERS.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS NOW INFORCE FOR VAVA'U AND THE NIUAS COASTAL WATERS BUT STILL REMAINS INFORCE FOR HA'APAI, TONGATAPU, 'EUA, TELE-KI-TONGA AND TELE-KI-TOKELAU COASTAL WATERS.
