A low pressure system to the southeast of Tongatapu and 'Eua, directing a moderate to strong southwesterly winds for this evening. This system is expected to continue moving eastwards and clear from our Tonga waters by tomorrow. Meanwhile, a cool south to southwesterly winds will prevail across Tonga tomorrow. | |

'EUA: Light to moderate southwesterly winds, fresh at times, then ease by tomorrow morning. Becoming fine this evening with cooler air temperature tonight. FOR HA'APAI AND VAVA'U: Light to moderate west to southwesterly winds, fresh at times over Ha'apai, then becoming light by tomorrow. Generally fine with cooler air temperature at night. FOR THE NIUAS: Light to moderate west to southwest winds. Mainly fine apart from cloudy periods with possible evening showers for Niuatoputapu. |

FOR TELE-KI-TONGA AND TELE-KI-TOKELAU COASTAL WATERS: West to southwest winds 10-20 knots, then rising to gusting up to 25-30 knots by tomorrow afternoon. Moderate seas (up to 2 metres), becoming rough by tomorrow evening (up to 3 metres). A moderate easterly swells (up to 2.5 metres).
